I also noticed the downtime was extended after he had hung up by Jason rehashing the whole conversation with Shastan as they discussed, "this must be _all_ girls who are like this, since it's not just _my_ girlfriend"...this is offensive due to its derogatory stereotyping of all females...since we're now part of a huge corporate environment with even an employee handbook and all, we should all be more sensitive politically correct issues such as this... When he got on-site he went to swap out the faulty components but found only green lights. (ie. its really the customers equipment). I checked and still getting intermittent failures, but need to wait til monday to check for sure. Might be a too small of a router. Upgrading to GF OS 12.0(6) might help also. Also we can see if the connection at the demarc needs to be reseated. (usually fixes this type of problem.)
